Larry Evans is this guy from Missoula Montana who comes to Telluride and knows quite a bit about mushrooms. He has spent over 40 years looking for morels, and he usually finds them. He is a vastly underappreciated songwriter who was featured in a comedy documentary by famous Canadian filmmaker Ron Mann called Know Your Mushrooms in 2009. He has spent a lot of time in South America and wrote A Field Guide to Tropical Amazon Mushrooms. Larry is currently engaged in creating ways to restore balance to the carbon cycle which human activity has perturbed.
